Essential Information
Before you book that well-deserved holiday, it is important that you are aware of everything that is included, or not included, in the price. At Direct Holidays, we have compiled some useful information so that you know exactly what you are paying for and maybe even what you can get for free.
What's Included In The Price?

- Return flights from Ireland to your resort airport.
- Transfers to and from your resort airport.
- Your accommodation as shown on the holiday invoice.
- Service of representatives who will inform you of the time of the 'welcome meeting' and will
be on hand throughout your holiday.
Extra Charges
Some facilities, where indicated, may incur extra local charges. These include:
- The hire of sun beds, safety deposit boxes, sports facilities and cots.
- At the beach you may have to pay local charges for sun beds or water sports facilities.
- If you are staying in an apartment you may be asked to pay a breakages deposit on arrival
(usually in local currency). This covers you for accidental loss or damage to your
accommodation.
- The amount of food and drink that you need to buy will depend on your board basis.
Accommodation Supplements
Our contract with hoteliers and apartment owners is usually based on a price per room while our holidays are sold per person, including flights and other essentials. The per person price for a single traveller includes the entire room cost which applies to both single rooms in hotels and self-catering units. In some hotels single rooms are often smaller, sometimes less well appointed than double rooms and on occasion without a balcony or terrace.
If you are sharing with less than the maximum number of adults, you will have to pay an under occupancy supplement per adult per night.
Child Supplements

Child reductions apply to children 2 years and older on the date of return travel (infants
cannot qualify for a FREE child place) under these conditions.
All FREE child places and 1st and 2nd child reductions must share accommodation with a minumum
of two full paying passengers.
When pricing your holiday children do not count towards occupancy of an apartment, room or
villa. Only 1 FREE child place can be claimed per room, apartment or villa.
A full deposit is required for all children. In the case of FREE children, the deposit
will be deducted from the Holiday invoice. All children must pay a meal, flight or room
supplement.
Meal Supplements

The child age for meal supplements is generally 2-12 years. Ages may vary so please check individual accommodation. Children over 12 years of age on their return to Ireland are required to pay the full adult meal supplement price.
Flight Supplements

We reserve the right to change flight supplements from time to time. Supplements can go up or down.
Aviation
The aviation industry has significant increases to its operating costs due to increased insurance and security charges. The amount of the additional costs can vary according to the political situation at any time. Airlines pass these charges onto us and regrettably, we have no other alternative than to pass these charges onto our customers. This has been incorporated into the prices displayed on our website.
All Inclusive Holidays

All inclusive holidays are designed to take the stress out of budgeting for your holiday in the sun by including all essential ingredients in the overall cost. In most cases, the price you pay covers your flight and accommodation, transfers, plus meals, drinks, entertainment, activities and sports - leaving you free to have a good time with no worries. Please remember to bring some cash for personal extras such as excursions, telephone calls and hiring sun loungers.
