Welcome to Direct Holidays Ireland website. Please read the Terms of Use carefully before using
the site. These Terms of Use apply to your use of this site and is a legal document which sets
out your rights and obligations and those of Direct Holidays in relation to the ‘Holiday
Services’ offered through this site. The 'Holiday Services' referred to in this document are
either flight only reservations or holiday packages booked on this site.
Direct Holidays Booking Terms and Conditions
It is essential that you read the Booking Conditions, for
your chosen holiday prior to booking online. These are the terms of your contract and apply to
all holidays and/or flights booked online and must be ticked as accepted when making your
Direct Holidays booking.

1. Agreement
'We', 'us' or 'our' means Direct Holidays. By accessing, using, browsing or booking on this
site you agree that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Use and
you agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Any holiday or other
service you purchase using this site will constitute a legal agreement between you and Direct
Holidays.
Please note that in order to book ‘Holiday Services’ on this site you will be required to accept the Direct Holidays Booking Conditions by ticking the relevant box. The Booking Conditions form the legal contract between you and Direct Holidays and govern the terms on which ‘Holiday Services’ are offered and sold on this site. Nothing in this site shall constitute an offer of goods or services.
We strongly recommend all our customers to read the ‘Travel Info’ and familiarise themselves with the additional holiday information we provide.
No contract shall be formed between you and Direct Holidays until you have received a ‘Confirmation and Full Invoice’ from our office and Direct Holidays has accepted your booking. If there is an error on your ‘Confirmation and Full Invoice’ we reserve the right to correct it as soon as we become aware of it, and we will do this within 7 days of issuing the ‘Confirmation and Full Invoice’ or if your departure is within 7 days, no later than 24 hours before you go. We would also direct you to contact our office immediately if you notice any errors on our website where we also reserve the right to correct reported errors.
2. Who can book holidays through the Direct Holidays Website?
This Site and its ‘Holiday Services’ are only available to people who, and parties that may,
lawfully enter into and form contracts under Irish law. You must be aged 18 years or more to
book ‘Holiday Services’ from this site and there must be at least one adult (18 years or more)
travelling on any one booking. Notwithstanding the above, your booking is made directly with
Direct Holidays.
Please note: At Direct Holidays, subject to the airline’s guidelines expectant mothers may travel up to week 28 of pregnancy with your doctor's permission. Once your pregnancy has entered its 28th week, we ask that you carry with you a letter from your obstetrician stating the pregnancy is uncomplicated and confirming the expected date of delivery. If you have any queries in relation to this, please do not hesitate in contacting our office.
Direct Holidays would like to remind our customers that in line with our booking conditions, they must purchase travel insurance and may choose Direct Holidays travel insurance provided by White Horse Insurance or an alternative travel insurance policy of equal or greater cover. Clients are also asked to make our office aware of any special requirements they may have and return a completed Direct Holidays “Special Needs Form” as part of our terms and conditions of booking. 3. Paying for your holiday
We accept Visa, Laser, MasterCard and American Express (Amex). Payment for a holiday or indeed
your holiday deposit will be accepted by credit card however this site cannot process a number
of credit cards against a single booking. Once your booking has been made and your deposit paid
by credit card, you can pay the balance of your holiday by bank transfer, bank draft, cheque,
money order, Lazer card and credit card. Please address all money payments to Direct Holidays
Ireland and if you have chosen to pay by credit card, we would advise you that there is a
handling fee on these transactions.
4. Secure Payments
For your own peace of mind, when you are making a payment online be sure to check your browser
for a padlock symbol. This indicates that the page you are on is secure and you can complete
your transaction with complete confidence. This gives you the highest protection possible when
you make financial transactions over the Internet.
5. ‘Late Deals’
All ‘Late Deals’ are booked directly with Direct Holidays and for a ‘Late Deal’ your
accommodation will either be ‘named’ accommodation or will be allocated on arrival in the
resort. This may be accommodation, which has not been advertised on this Site or in the
relevant Direct Holidays brochure.
If you have booked near the departure date then tickets will not be sent to you by post. You can collect your ‘tickets on departure’ from the relevant ticket desk at your departure airport. There will be a €15 charge per person for tickets on departure. All accommodation ratings shown are Direct Holidays ratings as part of the Thomas Cook Holiday group and may differ from the accommodation's official key rating. Please refer to our ‘Travel Info’ for additional information about Direct Holidays accommodation ratings.
6. Prices
Prices for Direct Holidays packages and flights displayed in search results are noted in Euro
and are subject to availability. Travel insurance is an extra and must be purchased at the time
of booking. Each holiday or flight prices shown are inclusive of taxes and charges. Our
customers can make great on line savings by booking holidays or flights at reduced rates but we
would remind them that prices are regularly reviewed and can fluctuate accordingly. Every
effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all information and prices but regrettably, errors do
occasionally occur. Where a price is obviously incorrect, we shall not be bound by such
price.
All prices for accommodation inclusive holidays are based on the maximum number of adults sharing the accommodation. Search result prices do change based on the number of adults and/or children occupying a room. Direct Holidays website accommodates individual holidaymakers and a group booking up to nine passengers. If you have any queries in relation to the cost of your holiday please do not hesitate in contacting one of our reservations team.
7. Changes to Direct Holidays ‘Terms of Use’
These ‘Terms of Use’ may be revised from time to time without notification. Any change or
revision shall be made for bona fide operational, technical or commercial reasons. If they are
revised, we will post the revised version on this Site and revisions will be effective
immediately. We therefore recommend that you please re-read these ‘Terms of Use’ from time to
time even if you have previously used this Site. By using this Site after we have changed the
‘Terms of Use’, you will be deemed to have accepted the changes. If, for any reason, you do not
agree to abide by our ‘Terms of Use’, please do not use this Site.
8. Changes to Site Content
We may change this site at any time without notice by adding or removing discounts, ‘Late
Deals’, holidays and other features or services. This will be without liability to you. We
reserve the right to withdraw offers and discounts at any time and at our discretion. Direct
Holidays does not warrant that the information accessible via this site is accurate and assumes
no duty to update such information. The information, which we display, is derived from a number
of sources including the Direct Holidays brochure.
Direct Holidays take every reasonable precaution to ensure that all details on this Site are accurate. However, on occasions, errors do occur and this may mean that an advertised holiday detail is inaccurate. Please bear this in mind when choosing your holiday and check all details, if you are unsure about any aspect of your holiday or flight information and please contact our office before making your booking. We do not accept liability for any errors or omissions and we reserve the right to correct reported inaccurate information.
9. Law and Jurisdiction
Every booking shall be deemed performed in the Republic of Ireland. This site is not intended
for use in jurisdictions outside the Republic of Ireland. Irish law shall govern each of the
bookings made with Direct Holidays, including (without limitation) all contractual and other
relationships, which arise out of such bookings. You and we each submit to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the Irish Courts in relation to any disputes arising out of any booking. No
warranties and /or representations of any kind, express or implied, are given as to the
compliance of the information shown on this Site or the services we offer with any laws of any
other country, and the laws of other countries will not apply to this Site or to the services

10. Passports/Visas/Vaccinations/Foreign Affairs Advice
Each member of a travelling party must possess a valid passport and visa (if applicable). All
children entering Bulgaria must have their own passport. Be certain to apply in time. You must
also ensure you have had all applicable vaccinations before you travel. For up to date
information please contact the Tropical Medical Advise Bureau on Call Save 1850 487 674 or
consult your local doctor. For up to date specific advice for the country or countries to which
you plan to travel, contact the Department of Foreign Affairs at www.foreignaffairs.gov.ie.
If you fail to obtain the relevant documentation and vaccinations before you travel you will be solely responsible for any costs, loss or damage which you or Direct Holidays incurs as a result of that failure. Direct Holidays shall not be liable for any such costs, loss or damage.
11. Data Privacy
By using the Direct Holidays website, you accept the practices described in our privacy policy. We may update our privacy policy from time to time
to take account of changing requirements such as changes in technology or legislation and we
request that you refer back to this privacy policy frequently to become aware of any such
revisions, as continued use of the Site signifies your agreement to any modification to our
‘Terms of Use’.
12. Your Information
Your information is collected when you request information from us, contact us or make a
booking with us. We will update your information whenever we get the opportunity in order to
keep it current, accurate and complete. Any information obtained via this website will be used
by Direct Holidays to identify you as a customer, to process your booking, to verify credit or
other charge card details and to deliver relevant information to you in connection with your
travel and any other ancillary services, of which you may wish to avail. For these purposes we
may transit your personal information to our own office, authorised agents, other carriers and
service providers, credit and charge companies and data processing companies working on our
behalf. Your personal information and any records relating to your travel will also be retained
for audit functions. We ask for your telephone number so that we can contact you urgently if a
problem arises with your reservation.
13. Data Protection
We may use the information collected to notify you about new Direct Holidays services,
important operational changes and special offers that we think you will find valuable. Some of
your information may be considered sensitive personal data under the Irish Data Protection Act
1988 & 2003, for example information relating to health. Should this arise, we will require
you to consent to the use of such information. We will endeavour to draw your attention to this
if it applies, when you first supply us with your information. However, unless you have given
your permission we will not disclose information to outside parties.
14. Personal Protection
It is your responsibility to keep your passwords confidential and use the security devices
offered. Our security measures depend on you complying with this obligation and we are not
responsible for any breach of your privacy due to your failure either to keep your passwords
secret or to use the other security devices correctly. Nor are we responsible for breaches of
security arising out of intentional and/or unauthorised attempts to access the site, for
example, by computer hackers.
15. Making Corrections
If you need to alter your details for any reason you may do so by writing to the Marketing
Department at Direct Holidays, 20D Becket Way, Park West Business Park, Nangor Road, Dublin 12.
You may withdraw your consent to the use of your personal information for any purposes, other
than the fulfilment of a booking, by writing to us at the above address.
16. Copyright and Trade Marks
You may save and print individual items included on this Site. However this must be for your
personal, non-commercial use only. You may also send selected individual items to other users
of the Site or your friends provided that they only use them for their own personal,
non-commercial use. Any other onward distribution or further publication is prohibited.
The copyright in the content of this Site belongs to us or to the licensors of such content. We reserve the copyright and all proprietary rights in this Site and all its content. The name “Direct Holidays”, trading under Capitol Holdings Ltd is registered as part of the Thomas Cook group, and any other marks, logos and graphics displayed on this Site are trade marks owned by Thomas Cook and its affiliates. Other company and product/service names displayed on this Site may be the trade marks of their respective owners. You are not granted any right or licence to use any trade marks.

By accessing this website you agree that Direct Holidays will not be liable for any direct,
indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of the information and other material
contained in this website or on any other website to which this website is linked. All links
featured on this Site have been included for your convenience only. The inclusion of a link
does not imply that we endorse or accept any responsibility for the linked site, its content or
its provider. Access to a linked site will be subject to that site's own terms and conditions,
to which you should refer. Please note that linked or framed sites are not licensed by the
Commission for Aviation Regulation.
18. Disclaimer
Access to this Site is free. However, you access and use it entirely at your own risk. Except
as stated in these ‘Terms of Use’ we make no representations or warranties in respect of the
Site, its contents or performance and all conditions and warranties that might otherwise be
implied by statute or at common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. This
website is provided 'as is' without any express or implied warranty of any kind and, in
particular, no warranty is given as to the quality, fitness for purpose or performance of the
website or its freedom from errors, omissions or inaccuracies.
In Addition, we do not accept responsibility for the material supplied by independent contributors, which account for a large part of this Site's contents. 19. Submitting your Material
You are solely responsible for any material including any photographs that you submit for

material you promise that it is legal and accurate, that you have the right and all necessary
consents required to have it included on the Site and that it does not infringe the copyright
or any other right of any other person.
You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, irrevocable right to use, keep, include on this Site, on other Sites and/or in other publications, reproduce, edit and create further material using, any material you submit to this Site. We may do these things in or by means of any media and/or technology now or in future developed including, without limitation, WAP and mobile digital TV.

All intellectual property rights (including, without limitation, copyright and rights in and to
any databases and trade marks) subsisting in this Site and its contents, in the software and
source materials used in connection with it, are owned by Thomas Cook group. All such rights
